Local Business Spotlight
Harlo Steakhouse & Bar has mastered the formula of Strip-worthy flash and sizzle in a comfortable neighborhood setting of Downtown Summerlin. The dining room has an abundance of ambiance with art deco touches, large windows, illuminated artwork and textured ceilings. The steaks are prime from Chicago’s Union Stockyard district’s Allen Brothers. The cocktails included all of the classics and my martini was served in its own little decanter. I was so enamored that the server told me where to find them on Amazon. Harlo was definitely worth the hype. https://www.harlosteak.com/
Community
Three Square Food Bank mission is to provide wholesome food to hungry people while passionately pursuing a hunger-free community. Serving Clark, Lincoln, Nye and Esmeralda Counties since 2007. It was an amazing experience taking a tour and helping to pack backpacks for the homeless children in Las Vegas. They also have volunteer shifts preparing meals like boxed lunches. Events + Things To Do
Super Summer Theatre presents “Sister Act: The Musical” now through Aug 6, at Spring Mountain State Park. All shows begin at 8:05pm; doors open at 6pm. Tickets start at $17.50 for GA; VIP reserved chair seating and early admission starts at $75. This is so much fun if you haven’t done it. Myron’s at Smith Center – Sip cocktails in the cabaret and listen to the live musical performance of Michael Grimm on Thursday, August 4th at 7:00 pm.
