I live and work in Summerlin so most of my favorite places are on the west side of town. I do have recommendations for other areas too – just ask!
Health & Beauty
Eli Sabat Salon – 3700 S. Hualapai Way, #202 Las Vegas, NV 89147 | 702-949-0889
Eli is by far the best hair stylist I have ever had. He’s very on trend, reasonably priced, and caters to his client’s schedules; not to mention how quick and efficient he is. His salon does color, cuts, special treatments (such as Brazilian blow-outs), hair extensions. His salon is in Summerlin.
Eyelash Extensions – Pedi Lounge 5325 S. Ft Apache Rd. Las Vegas, NV 89148 | 702-862-8088
I have been going to Mindy for 15 years, first for mani/pedi and then about 2 years ago she was trained for eyelash extensions. She recently sold her own salon and now is working at Pedi Lounge in the southwest. It’s a one-stop shop for me and Im in and out in 2 hours. She also does waxing. She is so detailed and conciensious with everything she does and her prices are very reasonable.
Vent Blotique Blow Out Salon – 2130 Park Centre Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89135 | 702-405-7202
This salon only does blow outs and hair treatments. All of the stylist are excellent but my favorite stylist is Kiersten. She always does something different to make me look fabulous! You can buy a very inexpensive monthly package. I do 4 times per month for $110. You get free blow outs when you refer friends so say I referred you, please!
Miki Nail Bar – 3330 S. Hualapai Way, #120, Las Vegas, NV 89117 | 702-450-8889
Occasionally I will be in a hurry and need to go somewhere super close to home and I really like Miki Nail Bar. The salon is super cute and the staff is very professional. Kat is exceptional with eyelash extensions and Ruby with mani/pedis. Summerlin location.
Lifetime Athletic – 10721 W. Charleston Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89135 | 702-228-2611
This is not your average gym. Top fitness classes, instructors, and amenities – even a salon and med spa. Stephanie Hill is the master botox administrator and all kinds of laser treatments. The prices are affordable too.
The Pilates Studio – 9540 W. Flamingo (Flamingo & 215) Las Vegas, NV 89147 | 702-895-9000
Reformer Pilates and Megareformer group and individual classes. The owner, Gracie, has outdone herself in this zen, loft-like studio atmosphere. The instructors are great and they will push you to work harder and give alternative poses if you have an injury. They are running a special for your first 10 classes for $125. You get 2 free classes when you refer someone so please tell them I sent you!
European Wax Center – 750 S. Rampart Blvd, #10 Las Vegas, NV 89145 | 702-998-4500
Conveniently located in Summerlin at Boca Park Fashion Village. They provide all kinds of waxing. I recommend Jen.
Shopping & Dining
Downtown Summerlin
Downtown Summerlin has lots of great shops, restaurants and an adult movie theatre with reclining chairs and a bar. On Saturdays there is a great farmers market and we also have a Trader Joes specialty grocery store. They are also very dog-friendly.
Clothing – BCBG Max Azria, Banana Republic, Fabletics, Pink, Jessica Galindo
Home Furnishings – West Elm, Ethan Allen, Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel
Health & Beauty – Dillards make up department, L’Occitane, Aveda, Sephora
Restaurants – Andiron, Wolfgang Puck, Grape Street, Lazy Dog
Tivoli Village
This is a small shopping and dining district located outside of Summerlin. Its charming and Italianate style is great for sitting on the
patio at any one of the great restaurants. They hold a farmers market and outdoor music on Sundays.
Restaurants – My absolute favorite restaurant is Café Leone. It’s a sidewalk café style restaurant with fantastic food and coffee. Other favorites would be Echo & Rig and Cantina Loredo. There is also a cigar bar that has live music on the weekends.
Home Furnishings – I like River North for interior design and accessories. D’annata has shabby chic style home accessories. Ninush has unique furnishings and lighting. Recently a gigantic Restoration Hardware store went in. The Paper Source is a fabulous little gift and paper store. They have over-the-top gift wrapping too.
Clothing – My favorite is Gypsy but Vasari carries some of the big designers such as DVF and Marc Jacobs.
Boca Park
Boca Park shopping center is pretty much the hub of Summerlin. There are lots of restaurants and shops including Total Wine, REI, and Target among some
small boutiques. My favorite is Modena – a boho chic shop. There is also an American Apparel for great t-shirts. My favorite restaurants are Kona Grill
(now with a rooftop deck) and Cheesecake Factory. Artique is a great home furnishing and accessory store. There’s a new home
furnishings store that I cant wait to check out.
