And You Will Too!
I often refer to Summerlin as a biosphere – you have everything you need and never need to leave. I’ve called Summerlin my home since 2002 and I’ve seen it grow into one of the best places in the U.S. to live. I enjoy everything Summerlin has to offer – the amenities, restaurants, events and shopping. In my free time, I can be found playing tennis, at a Summerlin park with my rescue dog Barclay, taking in an outdoor concert, rooting for the Aviators or dining with friends in Downtown Summerlin.
Some Reasons For You To Love Summerlin!
Summerlin is the absolute best place to raise a family. With the best schools in town, you have 14 different choices from charter to private. Each “village” boasts a park, each with a different amenity – from community pools, soccer fields, playgrounds, activity centers, basketball, tennis, pickleball … you get the idea.
Some of the best restaurants in town by both famous chefs as well as local restauranteurs lie in Summerlin. A few of my current favorites are Harlow in Downtown Summerlin and Le Strega in South Summerlin. Some old stand-byes would be Vintner Grill in Summerlin Centre and Honey Salt across from Boca Park.
There are several shopping districts such as Downtown Summerlin, Tivoli Village and Boca Park. You have big name department stores but also locally owned boutiques all in an open-air environment but also including an outdoor grassy area that often hosts festivals, free concerts, wine tastings and an event for almost every holiday.
Downtown Summerlin also includes mid-rise office space and high-density living all set adjacent to Red Rock Hotel, Spa & Casino. Summerlin is also home to the National Hockey Team, the Vegas Golden Knights practice arena as well as the Minor League Baseball field the Aviators.
Finally, Red Rock Canyon National Conservatory is in our own backyard. With nature, hiking, biking and climbing abounding. Summerlin also boasts the most spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
