Summerlin, the most desirable place to live in all of Nevada.
The master-planned community makes up the most western suburb of Las Vegas and at its completion will encompass 6 miles in length and 5 miles in width covering 22,500 acres. It currently makes up 18 villages plus five 55+ Active Adult communities, five Country Club communities plus the acclaimed Summit Club. There are currently over 200,000 residences that make up Summerlin.
Summerlin also boasts endless neighborhood and community parks with everything from swimming pools, tot lots, baseball fields, soccer fields, and basketball courts. The parks and community centers hold a wide variety of social and recreational gatherings including events hosted exclusively for Summerlin residents. When you call Summerlin home, you open your world to dozens of special events, seasonal celebrations, classes, camps athletic programs and more.
There are a variety of educational choices including two dozen private, public, magnet, Pre-K as well as a satellite college campus. Houses of worship include 14 different choices all within the boundaries of Summerlin. Our own Summerlin Hospital is a state-of-the-art medical center.
Art and Culture are no stranger to Summerlin. From ballet to musicals, library events, art shows to concerts under the stars – this is the place. You’ll find performances of multiple disciplines happening year-round in the Donald W. Reynolds Cultural Center, home to Nevada Ballet Theatre and the Summerlin Library and Performing Arts Center. Be sure to visit the Warsaw Ghetto Remembrance Garden at Temple Beth Sholom, which is dedicated to the occupants of World War II enclave and features the largest collection of stone that once paved the streets of Poland’s Warsaw district.
The most recent development is “Downtown Summerlin” which includes an outdoor shopping area, restaurants, office space and high-density living all set adjacent to Red Rock Hotel, Spa & Casino. Summerlin is also home to the National Hockey Team, the Vegas Golden Knights practice arena as well as the Minor League Baseball field the Aviators.
Set adjacent to the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area makes hiking, biking, and beautiful sunsets at our fingertips. Summerlin also has arguably some of the best views of the
lights on The Strip and views of the valley.
Summerlin broke ground in the early 1990’s and will span another 20 years. It has won the Best Master-plan community in the country consecutively for years. The quality of life here is unsurpassed.
